Recognizing Team Member Certifications in 2021
December 27, 2021 • 3 minute read
As we continue to tread through the ups and downs of this past year, the theme of consistent professional growth persevered throughout our company culture. Our team members continually strive for the better: for clients, for our communities, for our company, and for our employees. They develop both individual and firm knowledge and expertise to serve clients, communities, and the transportation industry. We congratulate the individuals achieving new certifications and licenses over the past year, and thank them for their dedication and passion.

Driving Less Starts with Building Differently

How much can planning decisions actually reduce driving? Our latest research introduces a statistical model that links built environment choices—such as density, transit service, walkability, and land use mix—to vehicle miles traveled (VMT). The findings give planners and policymakers practical, evidence-based tools to evaluate scenarios, understand tradeoffs, and make more informed transportation and land use decisions.
