Recruiting Coordinator

Our Fehr & Peers Corporate office serves all of our offices and anticipates the needs of others to support their success in improving the communities we serve. Our close-knit Human Resources (HR) team partners with hiring managers and staff members across the company to recruit and hire new candidates and connect our staff with all aspects of the unique Fehr & Peers culture. We’re seeking a collaborative and organized self-starter to join us as our new Recruiting Coordinator. This role administers our talent acquisition program by helping ensure we consistently meet ongoing needs in providing qualified candidates to more than 18 offices. A successful candidate for this position enjoys collaborating across teams, cares deeply about the candidate experience, and is passionate about building diverse and inclusive teams. 

As one of the first contacts candidates make, the Recruiting Coordinator ensures they all have a welcoming and positive experience with Fehr & Peers. The position offers opportunities for  reviewing candidates, speaking with candidates during phone screens, determining offices candidates may be best suited to, and sharing candidate information with the office hiring managers. Beyond the standard recruiting process, we’re looking for a creative individual motivated to expand our reach and success by researching and uncovering new and diverse candidate pipelines, identifying events to participate in, and partnering with our offices nationwide to creatively source some of our more unique positions.

Responsibilities 

    • Review candidate materials and source potential candidates 
    • Research and identify new schools and hiring sources regularly 
    • Update candidate records and maintain data integrity in our applicant tracking system 
    • Coordinate the creation of job descriptions and recruiting materials, together with the hiring managers and our Communications team 
    • Maintain and update our job boards 
    • Conduct phone interviews with candidates, provide follow-up correspondence to candidates on their recruiting status, and ensure a consistent and positive candidate experience 
    • Provide support for and participate in recruiting events and professional/college career fairs as needed 
    • Ensure candidates are moving quickly through the recruiting process and offer ideas to streamline processes and improve our existing programs 
    • Maintain accurate analytics and reporting for the recruiting program 
    • Provide training for and share best practices with office recruiting representatives 
    • Participate in the expansion of our recruiting efforts with underrepresented groups and contribute ideas to broaden our recruiting efforts around diversity, equity, and inclusion 
    • Assist the HR team with various administrative duties and special projects as needed 

Requirements 

    • College degree or equivalent, 2+ years of relevant HR experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience 
    • Familiarity with HR laws, regulations, and recruiting practices 
    • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills 
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to influence 
    • Ability to manage priorities and workflow 
    • Creativity and flexibility 
    • Motivation to be an innovative team player 
    • Commitment to excellence and high standards 
    • Experience with applicant tracking systems or HR systems (desirable)
