More About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced help desk technician who thrives in a challenging and dynamic environment and has a passion for helping others by applying their technical expertise. This is a full-time position at our Corporate Headquarters in Walnut Creek, CA. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the monitoring and tracking of help desk tickets
  • Deploy, manage and assist in the maintenance and/or repair of IT devices including phones, laptops, desktops, tablets, handhelds, printers, and peripherals
  • Demonstrate initiative and maintain the highest degree of professional conduct at all times
  • Seek opportunities to improve knowledge, skills, and performance
  • Provide input to and/or document procedures
  • Perform routine audits of systems and software
  • Provide excellent IT support to the company in both local and remote locations
  • Take after hours calls and be available for off hours emergencies

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years Help Desk or Desktop Support experience
  • Excellent administrative, organizational, and time management skills
  • Willingness to travel; regularly scheduled visits to other offices will be required
  • Administrator level knowledge of Windows 7/10
  • Fluency with Microsoft Office Suite and Office 365
  • Strong understanding of networked PCs and peripherals in a MS Active Directory environment
  • Excellent communication skills in person, over the phone, email, and instant message
  • Strong customer service combined with a great attitude
  • Patience with and empathy for customers
  • Valid CA Driver License and dependable vehicle for work-related trips; mileage is reimbursed
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
