Our experience has taught us that clients’ needs don’t always dictate a single approach to problem-solving. We have therefore developed the following tiered approach that allows us to tailor our level of effort to most efficiently solve our client’s needs.
Tier 1 – Expert Advice
In many cases, our clients don’t need a comprehensive analysis or design to answer their questions. They would, however, benefit from the experience and knowledge of our senior professionals. One of our highly-experienced consultants will work with the client to offer their expert advice and opinions to help guide their decision-making process.
Tier 2 – Quick-Response Tools
Some clients’ questions require some technical analysis, but not all necessitate a comprehensive evaluation. Fehr & Peers has access to a wide range of Quick-Response Tools that can better inform decision-making, but with much less time and cost of traditional technical approaches. Whether it is commercially-available software or proprietary tools developed in-house, we can use these tools to better inform our opinions, but without having to spend substantial amounts of time performing comprehensive analysis.

Tier 3 – Comprehensive Analysis/Design
A more comprehensive approach to analysis or design solutions is required when a client’s needs solidify and formal documentation is necessary to increase the confidence in our findings. This level of effort is oftentimes mandated by reviewing agencies to gain approvals and/or entitlements. Our experts employ state-of-the-practice and best practice analytical tools and techniques to answer the complex problems required at this point in the process.
