Committed and Experienced Leadership in San Diego

Fehr & Peers announces an experienced group of senior-level staff who will serve our clients in the San Diego area and surrounding region:

Sohrab Rashid, T.E., is a Principal with 24 years of experience, who will serve as the Office Leader in San Diego beginning this summer. He has a wealth of transportation planning and engineering experience including projects in California and Hawaii, as well as in China and Singapore, and has been with the firm for 17 years. Sohrab’s project diversity includes impact analysis and fee programs, sustainability studies, campus and TOD planning, and General Plan/Specific Plan studies. He recently led the consultant team on the circulation and mobility update for the Envision 2040 General Plan Update for the City of San Jose and has served as the on-call transportation engineer for the City of Saratoga for 10 years.
Stephen Cook, P.E. is an Associate and a key leader in the San Diego office. As a lifelong resident of the area, Steve has been responsible for managing projects ranging from broad planning efforts such as the development of community plans and impact fee programs to operational analyses and conceptual engineering. He has worked on a wide variety of transportation projects including the San Diego Convention Center Expansion, I-5 North Coast Corridor Improvement Study, and the County of San Diego Transportation Impact Fee Program. Steve is currently serving as project manager for the Midway and Old Town Community Plan updates and San Diego and the Commercial Street-Imperial Avenue Corridor Master Plan.
Jeremy Klop, AICP, is a Principal and Senior Market Leader and has a combined expertise in travel demand forecasting and multimodal operations. Jeremy has helped implement projects in diverse settings such as high mountain Main Streets, economically-challenged Midwestern towns, biomedical campuses, thriving downtowns, and small transit villages. He is involved in several San Diego area projects including the Carlsbad Livable Streets Implementation Plan and is also leading Fehr & Peers’s work on the Los Angeles Union Station Master Plan.

Jason D. Pack, P.E., is a Senior Associate and Senior Market Leader with a focus on projects ranging from infrastructure-related assessments (interchanges and signal coordination studies) to General Plan/Specific Plan studies.  He recently completed the City of San Marcos’s Mobility Element and is currently assisting the City of Carlsbad with their General Plan Update and Complete Street efforts.  Additionally, Jason has completed several land-use development studies in San Diego County by applying the SANDAG-approved Mixed-Use Development (MXD) Trip Generation methodology, which was developed based on Fehr & Peers research.
