Fehr & Peers Increases Market Share by Opening Office in San Diego
WALNUT CREEK, Calif. – Fehr & Peers has expanded their Southern California presence by opening the doors to an office in San Diego. The office is opening with two new employees, Mark Peterson and Saul Kane, both of the San Diego area.
Mr. Peterson joins Fehr & Peers with over 30 years of comprehensive transportation planning experience in a variety of capacities, including both public and private consulting management positions. He specializes in the conduct of multi-modal corridor studies, with particular expertise in travel demand assessments. Mr. Kane joins Fehr & Peers with over 14 years of experience in the area of traffic engineering design. His range of work includes scope preparation, data collection and analysis, assessment of impacts on all modes of transportation, design of physical and operational mitigation measures, and report preparation.
This is the thirteenth office for Fehr & Peers, which began as a three-person company in Lafayette, Calif. in the Bay Area. Since 2005, the company has expanded to Southern California, opening offices in Orange County, Santa Monica, Inland Empire, and now San Diego.

Fehr & Peers has been involved in several San Diego projects, including SANDAG Smart Growth Trip Generation and Parking Study, National City General Plan, Carlsbad Traffic Calming, and the Chula Vista Bike Master Plan.
