This allows you to gain first-hand experience and get to know the team. Many of our interns return as entry-level employees following graduation.

Learn with your peers.

Each summer, our interns participate in a 6-week webinar series. A variety of topics are covered by staff throughout the firm to give interns an overview of the firm’s culture, areas of expertise, technical disciplines, and consulting fundamentals. While this program is limited to the summer, many of our offices welcome interns year-round.

Our teams enjoy friendly, flexible, “small company” office environments and the support of a well-established, industry-leading, mid-sized firm. We have offices in California, Washington, Utah, Colorado, Oregon, and Washington DC.

About Our Internships
Our interns take on similar tasks and responsibilities as full-time entry-level staff. Internships are available in all of our offices for the semester, summer, or year. Interns must be at a junior or senior-level pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in transportation, civil or electrical engineering; urban and regional planning; or related major. Coursework and/or extracurricular activities in transportation are highly desirable.

Our Bay Area region hosts a New Engineer/Planner Mini-101 Training Series to facilitate early training needs for staff just getting their feet wet in project work. Some of the topics include:
