For the fourth consecutive year, Fehr & Peers has made the list as one of the top engineering firms to work for in the nation. Winning a spot on CE News’ list of the top civil engineering firms to work for is an honor that we are extremely proud of.
Best Places to Work in the Bay Area
For the last four years, Fehr & Peers’ Bay Area offices have been the recipient of The Best Places to Work in the Bay Area award. This award is based off a survey taken by all the employees of our Bay Area offices. The San Francisco Business Journal awards a variety of companies from all over the Bay Area.
Sacramento Workplace Excellence Leader Award
Fehr & Peers was recognized in 2009 for the Sacramento Workplace Excellence Leader (SWEL) award. We were honored to be recognized as one of the extraordinary employers within the greater Sacramento area. This recognition was based on innovative culture and great employee practices such as learning opportunities, career development activities, generous work/life programs, incentive pay plans or maybe health and wellness promotions.
A+ Employer in the Sacramento Region
For the last two years, Fehr & Peers has been nominated as an A+ Employer in the Sacramento area. Staff from our Roseville and Sacramento offices were surveyed and Fehr & Peers made the list again this year. The Sacramento Business Journal awards a variety of companies from all over the Sacramento region.
Bicycle Friendly Business Award
In 2009, Fehr & Peers was awarded the Bicycle Friendly Business Award from The League of American Bicyclists. We were recognized for being a leader for best practices and innovations in bicycle friendliness at the workplace.
Utah Work/Life Awards – Utah’s Best Places to Work
Fehr & Peers’ Utah office was recognized in 2008 and again in 2010, as one of the best companies to work for in the state of Utah by the Utah Department of Workforce Services. This award is a prestigious win for Fehr & Peers and shows our commitment to our core values and how we strive to exemplify them in the Utah office.

Both the Sacramento and San Francisco Chapters of Women’s Transportation Seminar have recognized Fehr & Peers with Employer of the year awards over the past few years.
