A key focus since our inception in 1985

Fehr & Peers is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment.

We celebrate and value our similarities and differences with respect to a wide range of areas including gender, race, ethnicity, culture, sexual orientation, age, physical abilities, veteran status, religious belief, academic background, and professional experience.  Our philosophy on diversity and inclusion at Fehr & Peers is centered around four primary themes:

  • We have a diverse perspective on diversity.
  • We define inclusion to mean everyone.
  • Our benefit offerings include everyone.
  • We seek to exemplify diversity and inclusion in our consulting services.

Diversity and Inclusion has been a key focus for Fehr & Peers since our inception in 1985.  While we are proud of the progress we’ve made over the years, we realize that we have much more work to do and we are continually seeking ways to improve.  In 2018, we convened a Leadership Development Forum (LDF) to engage a broader group of staff from around the company in a conversation to identify ways to further evolve our diversity and inclusion efforts at both the company-wide and office level.  This effort included an in-person meeting and several follow-up conference calls, culminating in an action plan centered around the areas of culture, recruiting, and retention. We rolled out the action plan in the summer of 2018 and have since implemented it in each office. The LDF group will continue to monitor our progress and consider additional enhancements in coming years.
